New guy on the block. Are the RYR portfolios set 'm 'n forget'm? I'm aware of the rebalancing requirement, but I was wondering if there's any periodic changes to the investment mix, or do you simply maintain the initial lineup forever? I'm looking for a low maintenance retirement portfolio (I've been retired for 5 years) that doesn't require a lot of active, hands on monitoring and adjusting. Like the so called "Gone Fishin' Portfolio". Are the RYR portfolios of the same genre?

You probably want to post this in the RYR specific forums, since it's a pay feature and most of the people here don't know what's in them.

There is no such thing as a "set and forget" portfolio. Or, more accurately, there is but do not expect superior results. People who know what they are doing re-examine everything regularly.
