Looks good on paper, we'll see how it does in practice. I really wouldn't count out PALM, though. It has a huge installed base and a lot of people would like to use an easy to use interface they are familiar with such as the Palm OS.

If palm could leverage it's dominance in the PDA market to create a open proprietary standard for creating websites for PDAs (just as they have with applications) then i'd consider investing. In my opinion, users will want to access the internet more and careless about which PDA/Smart Phone has more applications. People will want to check their Yahoo email or make a trade through their Ameritrade account.

You may want to check out Pumatech (PUMA). PUMA has a software browser out for handhelds that converts web content on-the-fly to a format readable by smartphones and PDAs. Here's the press release for Browse-It:
