Not officially, by Philly just announced they won't have fans at home games. I predict the next step will be all teams eliminating fans. Then they will eliminate the games. https://www.inquirer.com/eagles/coronavirus-eagles-games-fan...
Lot less drunk and disorderly arrests and DUI problems, then.
I predict the next step will be all teams eliminating fans. Chargers already have a head start on this.
As long as they can keep the virus away from the players, they'll play without fans. There's too much TV revenue at stake. It may prove to be impossible in the end, but they'll try.
As much as I want to see football this fall, especially TB12 in TB and Cam Newton in NE, I think it'd be foolish to play, practice and train. If I were one of the higher end players I'd be refusing. Not worth the health risk when you can just delay it a year.Of course the league will have a completely different way of looking at it as they watch the dollars fly out the door.Simon
Dolphins just announced that no fans can attend practice sessions or pre season games. They will determine attendance and spacing at a later date. However, They have banned tailgating for the 2020 season, mandated socially distanced seating clusters, masks will be mandatory when fans aren’t eating or drinking, there will be no paper tickets, the team will add points of entries and exits to help avoid bottlenecks and use cashless purchases for concessions, parking and retail.
