I nominate Seattle Pioneer for this year's Feste. SP is currently 5th on the Fave Fools List (734). Four of his main hangouts are REHP, LBYM, Building & Maintaining A Home, and Consumer Credit/Credit Cards.

One of the main reasons for my nomination is his writing style. If there were a "body fat" measure of posts, his would be 0%. He has mastered going straight to the point and writing brief paragraphs which never diverge from a particular issue. All in all, you may not agree with what he says--and there are quite a few who don't--but you will never finish one of his posts wondering what he said.

He's been on Fooldom since 4/2000 and has one of those rare green (20,000 posts) stars. That's an average of about 380 posts a month. But when you're financially independent, you have TIME to be that prolific. He repairs people's furnaces when he wakes up and chooses to work. How did he reach the summit of everyone's desired financial mountain? It's a fascinating story:

He's no fan of hypocrisy. For example, when he thinks someone is talking out of both sides of their mouth about Wal-Mart, he tells them about it:

Finally, when the sensitive issue of a fellow Fool allegedly getting unfairly fired arises, he risks unpopularity by disagreeing with the OP about the strength of her case. I guess that's called conviction, something he has in ample supply:

You've blazed many worthwhile trails for TMF readers, Seattle. You can be Feisty, and now I think it's your time to be Feste. Kudos.
