Select "Computers" from the main screen, and you should see all the Macs on your home network that have iTunes running and home sharing turned on.

I really did turn on 'Home Sharing' on the Macbook in question (through iTunes)...when I look at iTunes on my iMac, I see the computer in question in the 'sharing' tab, but when I then go to the ATV, the only computer that shows up is my iMac...

granted, I haven't rebooted the iMac, macbook or the ATV....may do that to all....heck, may also reboot the router...

I may bring the laptop upstairs in case there is an issue with the Network connection (ATV may be preferentially hitting one part of the network and laptop may be on another part)

I guess the other thing I could try is to go cat5 to the ATV and see if that changes it's ability to sense other devices on the network (yes/no)

thanks again for your input..

Mick
