I can use your help. The biggest problem I have is sell points. I need more discipline with what I do. Sometimes I just fail miserably at this. It's something I really want to improve on but it's like someone poking a stick in my eye and I can't seem to get past it. When this happens, I know I should sell and take a few points profit but instead hold on for dear life thinking the long term trend will win out. It's like I'm always testing myself. What's with this? Why don't I just take the profit when it's offered? SheDevil
I would recommend a book called "When to Sell" by Justin Mamis. It's an old book, but he is one of my favorite authors, and you can get a great deal of information from this book, and from "When to Buy" and "The Nature of Risk", two other classic books by Mamis.NukeJohn
Excuse me, the Mamis book on buying stocks, is "How To Buy", not When to Buy.
Thanks NukeJohn. I'll hit the library and see if they have any of these. This is a problem that doesn't seem to go away, at least for me. It's improving but it isn't going away and I want to know why so I can beat it.SheDevil
