Rather than be part of once-in-a-generation transformational legislation, Senator Houseboat, Joe Manchin, said his long time effort and lifetime goal of addressing climate change -- so, so important to him -- cannot have any actual climate change initiatives and that addressing climate change should be financed by private industry.

In short, he strongly opposes the clean electricity portion of the legislation.

Experts have said that the policy over the next decade would drastically reduce the greenhouse gases that are heating the planet and that it would be the strongest climate change policy ever enacted by the United States.

“This is absolutely the most important climate policy in the package,” said Leah Stokes, an expert on climate policy, who has been advising Senate Democrats on how to craft the program. “We fundamentally need it to meet our climate goals. That’s just the reality. And now we can’t. So this is pretty sad.”

Senator Houseboat opposes clean electricity, stands by a filibuster that has had more than 100 carve-outs over the years -- including for Supreme Court justices -- and is anxious to kick your dog. Twice.

Senator Houseboat and the Thumbs Down Lady are destroying the Biden agenda -- that 98% of congressional democrats support, and that a majority of Americans support -- and doing their best to reelect Fat Mussolini.
