shellac...sometimes 2 coats are needed

Heh. I'm up to 6 coats already. Brushed on, not rolled, which may be part of it. As far as the previous comment talking about the paint breaking down, yes it is water based but it sure doesn't look different from what I've used in the past. No skimming over and seems to have the proper viscosity.

Slowly improving.
