Thanks. I was aware there were some pre-defined scans at StockCharts, and some of them are useful, e.g., the 'Oversold with low RSI', because they don't return an overwhelming number of tickers, but do identify quite early possible turn-around candidates.

To create custom scans at StockCharts requires subscribing at $25/month. At TC2000, the fee would be $30/month. Also, STOCKALYZE can be used to generate signals. http://www.stockalyze.com If a person were doing a lot of scanning and trading off the scans, the fees would be merely the cost of business. But I'm not yet convinced I want to go back to work again. So I'm looking to do things as cheaply as possible.
