Beth Kindig is a respected financial blogger that often gets honorable mention on Saul's board. She has just repackaged and launched an advisory letter in which she compares her results favorably to ARKK's. Beth reports that from May 9, 2020 to December 31, 2020 Cathie's ARKK delivered 113.5% while Beth reports 115.5%. However, Beth charges $499 a year that would be neted out from the 115.5% while Cathie charges .75% annually deducted prior to the 113.5%.

On the very huge presumption that the proximity of returns for both will continue, I don't think this warrants me dumping Cathie for Beth. It seems far more carefree just to buy ARKK and let Cathie manage the underlyiing positions rather than doing all that myself with Beth's plan. However, with enough money invested, Beth's plan might squeeze out a few more bucks.
