I was in Borders wandering through the investment books section and what did I see?

Technical Analysis for Dummies.

Yup, a chart reading book in the For Dummies series.

Now I am not a fan of TA, but using a For Dummies book to trade it
seems like stupidity on steroids. A little googling and
I find out that there is also Stock Options For Dummies, Futures and
Options For Dummies and Flipping Houses For Dummies. I absolutely am
not making these titles up, they are all available on Amazon.

While I am much in favor of getting the general populace to have
a lot more financial sophistication, this seems like a dangerous trend.
People sketchy enough to trade options after reading a For Dummies book
will probably also wager way more than they can afford to lose on it.

Chris - hoping for more market downdraft, I have a few stalwarts to aquire
