I wanted to toss out another personal item for feedback (he says, exposing himself for all to see).

I have a hard time getting to sleep at night, and waking up the next morning. With all the drinks in the previous post, I often make last minute trips to the bathroom. I am never sure if it is from all the beverages imbibed throughout the day or from the excess processing of carbs.

Then in the morning, I just drag my lazy arse out of bed. Does not seem to matter how early I go to sleep the night before, I have 6 alarms and I start getting up 3 hours before I am to be at work. Again, I don't know if this is diabetes-related or I need to check into a sleep clinic.

My sugars have always been higher in the morning, and falling into high normal range by lunchtime. I have also found that eating certain foods the night before cause my sugars to be lower in the morning than not taking a late night snack (also depends on the snack). I have often wondered if my choice of foods could affect my sleep habits.

So, any ideas?
