The markets have had a great run these two past months or so. I am finding it very difficult to find stocks that fit my criteria. In fact, I am beginning to sell off my picks. Earlier this week PPP was sold from my Caps portfolio. I was getting a little nervous with its higher valuation. Today I sold HES; a 19 percent gain in one month is enough for me.

I am looking for an exit point on PD. I ran a valuation on it prior to adding it to my Caps portfolio and came up with a staggering $150 by the end of 2007 -- a 53 percent gain from the purchase price! Although it's only half way there, it has been only a month and I am beginning to get a little nervous about the offer from FCX. Yes, the offer may go higher, but stocks that trade based on a commodity make me nervous...especially considering the run that copper has had.

I did manage to find one stock to add: LYO. This one may fall a bit short term, but I am projecting a 25% return by the end of 2007. I have LIZ and ACE on my watch list, but need to see a 10 percent drop before adding them.

Until next time, good investing!
