It seems whenever I run one of my more generic scans with the only parameter being price between $0.00 - $100.00; I am astonished with how many SLM bonds there are out there.

I looked into their debt and according to yahoo finance, the most current notice shows a staggering $190B. SLM has a Ba1/BBB rating.

Just curious if anyone had comments or actually owned any particular short term or medium term notes.

((Incidentally GM is another one that shows up by the dozens and dozens in my scans for $100.00 or under, which is a pretty indicative sign of where the debt markets are right now.))
