We are BURIED here. Lots and lots of snow. Fine, fluffy stuff, still coming down at 6:45 a.m. Temp about 12.

Happy Sunday! As they say, "We ain't goin' nowhere today!"

Condolences from sunny South Carolina.

Howie52

Please believe me when I say I am not trying to be overly snarky about the
weather.

really.

OK - just a little.

Well - OK a lot then.

If you were up at 6am Saturday in Dallas, you got to see 5 minutes of snow flurries. Otherwise, you missed it. It was pitch black at 6am. 99.99% of people slept in and missed it. Me too.

40-50 mph winds, 26 F Sunday morning.

Cold and windy all Saturday

Sunday just cold.......but sunny

stay safe Vermonter...

It is now 4:30 p.m., getting dark (automatic lights coming on in foyer and living room), and still snowing but slowing. Temp in the teens but expected to go subzero overnight.

Our homemade beef stew was delicious, though! A team effort for us, and leftovers will heat nicely one of these days.

Hey,

I arrive in Hanover, NH on Thursday night. Can you make sure the snow is gone and the temperature is in the 30s. Any connection to God would be helpful.. :)

Oh, no fun

Only up to 40 tomorrow and lows in 20s tonight and most of week.

Today wind 25 mph from south. Tomorrow 25 mph from north.

Today the temp was over freezing and may hit 45 or so tomorrow- but with rain, maybe freezing rain, and other stuff.

Just helped my wife make homemade veggie chili. I just chopped a bunch of veggies and helped open cans of corn, chili beans, etc. She does the cooking and adding spices, etc. Smells great already and will be wonderful later, after it sits a while, simmering!

Retirement is great at times like this, when one can stay home.

I often wonder why some meals are so much better as leftovers but have
never really come up with a good reason - outside of aging.

Howie52
However, I do not choose to ask DW about how aging has helped us.

Forecast for NE Ohio was a mild winter!!! Holy c..p, over a foot of snow, then rain, now frigid temps into next week with a high of 0º next Thursday and more snow. Think I will cancel my dental appt. for that day.

They were predicting a couple of inches of snow for us on Tuesday here in Middle Tennessee and now weather dot com says that it's just going to be cold 27/13 but now no snow? What happened to it? Where did it go? I find this confusing!

High temperatures in Seattle are plunging to the huighs 40s and low 50s in the week to come.

Where is this global warming they keep talking about? I keep expecting the arrival of a Mediterranian climate here and continue to be disappointed.
