So how do you cut down on costs for IRA drips. Specifically I want a Roth. The cheapest places I have found are Sharebuilder, Scottrade, Firstrade and Financial Cafe. Which one is the best?

It up to you.

With Scottrade, Firstrade, and FinancialCafe - you can use limit orders to buy stocks

Scottrade, Firstrade - No annual IRA fee. I think Sharebuilder does not charge an IRA annual fee too.

Scottrade - Good selection of mutual funds for No Transaction Fees

As you see, the selection is yours. A poster can not tell which one is best because it is your personal decision.

So you have to do your own homework to pick a broker based on your situation.
