So, this Friday the 21st is my last day to work until 1/03. And, due to the way our schedule falls, it's only going to 'cost' my 3 days of vacation.

I would've been the same way with me....except that my HR manager is allowing the use of unused personal days (which don't carry over) as part of the time off. So, it is only 'cost'ing me 1 vacation day. Fortunately they changed the carry over of vacation days all my unused days will carry over. I have 2 + 10, and the old policy was carry over max of 10 days. New policy is no limit on carry over, but maximum accrual is 25 days.

Guess I need to plan on taking a holiday next year.

The Dreamer.
