Hi all -

Haven't been on the boards for a while but had a question.

I'm filling out VA aid forms for DAD, and they have requested copies of the 2018 SS statement form that shows the current SS payment for both DAD and MOM. Dad's is no problem. Found the form and sent off a copy. Mom's is still MIA. BUT -

In looking at Mom's deposits for the past several years, I noticed her direct deposit has not gone up since 2015. (as far back as the online bank records show.)

Is this normal? Dad's deposit amount goes up approximately $2 a year. (that's an estimate, but it does go up.) Mom's hasn't. Since I don't have her actual form(s), I can't see if maybe it is getting rolled into her Medicare.

Is it possibly because it is a Spousal amount?

Any insight that you can provide into this, would be helpful.

Thanks -

Lady Ianna
