Hello Fools,

I've been reading the FoolBoards for sometime now and have become convinced that I should convert my wisely invested IRA mutual funds into a cash-king stategy.

In an epiphany, it struck me that it would be very Foolish to solicit for comments before I purchase these critters. After all, I'm only one Fool, and there is only so much information I can assimilate...Why don't I use the collective wisdom (I mean that in a GOOD way) of Fooldom to pass judgement on my selections?

I plan to choose 8 stocks to invest equal $ amounts into in the near future. So, I would love to hear comments from any and all Fools regarding my particular 8 Cash-King selections, especially re: objections to and/or suggestions for alternates to my particular choices. Who knows, you might even convince me to change my picks to YOUR favorite, if you're convincing enough!

So without further ado, here's my choices and a short comment regarding each...

Microsoft (MSFT) - hate the company, love the stock

Cisco (CSCo) - been great short term, and internet/telecommunications is only getting BIGGER every year

Hewlett-Packard (HWP) - taken it's lumps lately, but this is a great company and it will be again

Pfizer (PFE) - viagra, plus billions in research, plus the baby boomers are aging...

Schering-Plough (SGP) - there's room for more than one pharmaceutical on this planet (and in my portfolio)

Home Depot (HD) - wanted to get into some other sector besides tech and drugs, besides, I LOVE going to this store!

Coca Cola (KO) - it's been a great stock for a LONG time, I see no reason why it won't continue to be a great stock

Gap, Inc. (GPS) - it's not a clothing store, is a name-brand, 'nuff said!

Those are my picks, comments welcomed!
