Hey everyone, a couple things to report so I figured I would do an update now as well. 2012 is looking like the year of debt dismissal :]

The obvious good news here is repayment of several debts in full. Student loan, Discover, Citi, and Rooms to go. The loan and Citi were paid some time at the end of 2011 and this month was my decision to knock out the small remaining balance on RtG along with the final partial snowball payment to Discover.

This leaves me with one CC at 0% through September and a floating $2-3K snowball / savings target.

I know prior advice was to keep paying $50 to RoomsToGo and snowball all other monies, but at this point with everything at 0% [and priority on CC over auto loan] I'm happy to focus on a single payment down the final stretch.

Thanks so much to everyone here on the board for your kind words and advice over the years. I'll report back again when it's finally *zero balance day* :]

Happy dancin' and it feels so good,
Mike
