Some thoughts for your consideration.
The WM Group Strategic Growth Portfolio is a fund of funds. I seems to provide good diversification. Performance has been fairly good sometimes beating and sometimes losing to the S&P500. I does have expenses of 2.65% as compared to 0.25% or less for VFINX or VTSMX which are broad based index funds from Vanguard.
With the B shares you will have up to a 5% deferred sales charge if you sell the fund within 5 or 6 years.
The "free" financial advise is great but I see no particular advantage of establishing a Roth account through them as long as you look at account fees imposed through whoever you go to.
