I am just your ordinary everyday investor who is wondering why the does what it does. I am not an economist.
Maybe someone out there can help me. Why does everyone keep saying there is inflation, when the CPI continually shows no inflation. I think the CPI spiked to 4% annual inflation for a couple months. But before and most recently, the CPI has been low. Is the Fed obsessing?
I understand other indicators show inflation, but when it comes right down to it, isn't the CPI the final result?
Thanks, Dave.
