I hope someone from Sony sees this, because there are others who have had poor experiences with Sony. Consumer reaction eventually catches up to company and stock performance. This is my note to Mr. Stringer, CEO Sony:

Mr. Stringer:

I am the widowed mother of three children. In September 2003, I purchased a Sony projection television for my cancer stricken husband who was undergoing chemo and radiation to extend his life from one week to three months. I paid about 2000 for the television. The television is GONE..OUT OF SERVICE. After dumping about 1000 into it, I am told that ALL cathode ray tubes must be replaced at a cost of 1800.00. Please tell me where I can get this money to fix a television that had a life span of three years-the problems started last year. Money needed especially at Christmas time.

I would rather take out a full page ad in our local paper or picket Circuit City to let everyone know that SONY puts together crappy televisions in Mexico and urging people NOT to buy SONY.

After spending money on this stupid television and having SONY customer support basically tell me "too bad, so sad", I have had it with all SONY products and will do everything in my power to tell people about my negative experience.
