SP--that makes sense...except I thought you put these heaters where ever you needed them--so you'd have one in each bath, the laundry, and the kitchen. I didn't think it was possible to have one that serviced an entire house, actually. In fact, now that I recall it, my brother's flat in Budapest had two separate ones--one in the bath room that worked fro the sink and the tub and one in the kitchen at the sink.

I've mostly just heard of them as add-ons for bathrooms, but I don't see why you couldn't just do away with the regular hot water heater and put one at each place you need it.
