If sports announcers always work in pairs, why won't one EVER correct his buddy when his buddy says

"They just can't seem to get untracked. . . "

Now why on earth would anyone want to get untracked? Isn't the whole idea for the train to stay ON the track? How does getting untracked help in any way?

My friend just pats me on the hand and says "don't listen to the announcers. . . "
