That is the point. The administration has been going out of it's way to pander to religious extremists. Putting this "burden" on the health insurers is probably intended to force the insurers to add a "processing fee" to the $1 payment "to cover their costs due to big gummit regulations", with the intention of getting people to drop abortion coverage.


Funny thing about that.

They are already selling health insurance policies without abortion coverage to organizations that claim a religious exemption. The premiums are higher, since the cost of birthing an unexpected child is much more than contraception or an abortion.
