This seems like it should be the simplest thing EVER, but I can't locate the symbols for TC funds.

In my preliminary fund research, I've noticed that Vanguard, T. Rowe Price and Fidelity list a fund's ticker symbol, along with all the other fund info, in the prospectus. The prospectus for TIAA-Cref funds doesnot share this basic info with me. Why the heck not?!

Who else has done this research and share some wisdom on this?

According to Yahoo Finance, TIAA-CREF has a few Equity Index funds, it seems. But I'm mystified as to why TC wouldn't list the ticker symbols on their own website - does this sound unusual to anyone else?

Some notes I've taken on TC Equity Index funds....

TCIEX
TIAA CREF Institutional Mutual Funds International Equity Index Fund (Nasdaq) (Foreign Large Blend)

TRIEX
TIAA CREF Institutional Mutual Funds International Equity Index Fund (Nasdaq) (Foreign Large Blend)

TIEIX
TIAA CREF Instl Mutual Fds Equity Index Fd (Nasdaq) (Large Blend)

TCEIX
TIAA CREF Mutual Fund Equity Index Fund (Nasdaq) (Large Blend)
