I have a few thousand dollars in stocks options that will become exercisable in Sept. 2002. I would like to use the sale of these stocks for a down payment on a house. Can this "income" avoid being taxed too much since it is being invested in a home sale? Any ideas/directions out there? Thank you

You'll have to decide if it's being taxed too much, but there's no special tax treatment for this income because you're buying a house.
