I had the eye removed in a 90 minute operation yesterday. Other then having to wait 1 1/2 hours to get started, it went fine. They soak the orbital implant in pain medication before implanting it, so I had no pain yesterday. Some pain today, but controlled with Tylenol.

I was told I would have a pressure patch over the eye. I ended with bandages over the entire right side of my head....all the way over my bald head. I go back to the surgeon on Friday to see how things are going.

Thanks for all the kind words and good thoughts.

David
