If interested,

Buying TA/ selling covered call options will still get you a decent return on your money. I have read a few adverse comments about their capital expenditures, and their REIT (HPT).

TravelCenters also has unsecured notes, exchange traded, TANN, present yield is a little over 8%. Trading a little over $25. I was trying to find out if they are callable or not.

I've also been happy with buying DG and selling covered calls. Share price is up, did not look at present call option prices.

I glanced through an article in last week-ends WSJ. I think it was a page 1 story. I was ticked off to see DG is in the cross hairs of the federal government...EEOC...for not hiring people with criminal records. Since a large portion of those denied employment happened to be seems EEOC is making this a race issue. Seems like other companies...I belive PepsiCo was mentioned in the article...have already paid fines for not hiring criminals.
I wonder how many ex-cons the federal government hires?
