TELE, "how flush for cash were you at 29? "

At 29, I was living in a duplex apartment (half) saving up money. The year after, I bought five acres and started to have a house built on it - 1350 sq feet. Lived in that house until I moved years later. Put 20% down. Had credit cards, bank account, savings account, stock market account.

In 1983, I moved to Washington DC area (Arlington) - five miles from downtown and an easy commute on the Metro subway to work in downtown DC. Put 20% down on a 2 bedroom townhouse.

I wasn't making what Congress people were at the time by any means!......

but had paid for car and everything else. No other debt.

Next , she'll whine there isn't money in the federal budget to fund all the programs (free college, Medicare for all, etc) that she plans to implement immediately as that was her 'election mandate by the people'.
