telegraph:Heck, half the 'vibrants' in the inner cities have a kid before their 17......and the 'daddies' are most likely 16 or 17 years old at the time.

Yeah, but you hate those people. Now you think that they are to be emulated?

They'd be better off getting married first and settling down.

As teenagers?

According to a 2001 study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 48 percent of those who marry before 18 are more likely to divorce within 10 years, compared with 24 percent of those who marry after age 25. The study used statistics from 1995.

The libs have done a great job of insuring pregnancy before age 18 for a large majority of the inner city population. Four generations of welfare and a system that rewards out of wedlock births with lots of cash and money for the next 20 years to take care of the kid.

If only that were true...

According to the National Center for Health Statistics at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the birth rate among young women ages 15 to 19 fell 6 percent last year, to 29.4 births per thousand, the lowest rate in the 73 years the government has been collecting the data. The decline was across all racial and ethnic groups.

Perhaps a new calculator is in order? 29.4 births per thousand does not equal "large majority."

The article cites better access to better birth control as a big factor why teen pregnancy is reaching historic lows.

Now, between conservatives and liberals, which group would you suppose has worked harder to get teenagers better access to better birth control?
