First off, it was my allowance and I did earn it. It was about $80. The FMV of the stock is now almost $700.

I'm not sure if anyone paid tax on the dividends, but I'm assuming my parents did. They were always reinvested. I know I never recorded them on my returns, as frankly, I thought the stock never existed. Yes, my parents told me they were going to purchase it, but they told me a lot of things....

I'll ask them about the dividends. Obviously, gift taxes are not an issue.
