Saw an interesting note about I-Bonds:

The writer said there is a limit you can buy...$10,000. But, you can take your tax-return in I-Bonds also, up to $5,000 worth.
The writer said he makes an estimated tax payment of $5,000 in December, and takes the refund of that amount in the spring, in I-Bonds, thus purchasing $15,000 worth in a year.

I haven't looked into this at all, so i have no idea if the above is factual or not.

The very best part of reffing a few soccer games on a hot day? That ice cold gin and tonic tastes sooooooooo much better at the end of the day.
