Thank you so much for the input! I really appreciate it. My sister also did an expensive private school herself, and went on to graduate school and is now a college professor, seemed to do fine with her debt. It was cheaper back then though! I can see the value for the right kid and appreciate the opposing view. She was not approached by my brother for help co-signing or funds, I think because she's out of state and just not as close or in touch with him, plus he knows she has her own kids to think of (I don't have any). I appreciate the reminder of the serenity prayer. My worry is that I'll be filled with regret later on if I don't say anything or do anything, especially with my dad considering I feel he doesn't realize what he's doing and resentment for my brother for taking his money when he'll certainly need it for own well being at some point. But I need some wisdom to realize I can't do anything about other people's decisions.
