What you said above is all I need to hear. I put that tutorial together with you in mind. Take your time as you work your way through it. There's nothing about computers/computing that is obvious or intuitive until you've gotten yourself through it a couple of times. Then, retrospectively, it does seem easy.

More than one instructor all but had me in either tears or rage as they couldn't understand why I couldn't follow along with what the class was doing. Nowadays, I could kick any of their butts across the classroom and down the hall, because my skills are now so superior to theirs. But that doesn't mean I should treat anyone else the way they treated me.

But, because I'm trying to explain what is now so familiar to me, I tend to overlook some of the tiny steps that would halt a beginner cold, leaving them wondering how to next proceed. So I tried to be explicit in that tutorial and to anticipate difficulties. Hence, the detail can be annoying.
