Thanks easmith!

I checked with the US gov rate site for San Francisco based on a tip from another poster on the Ask the Headhunter board and came up with $130/night lodgings and $ 64/day food. I'm in line with those rates, so I'm feeling pretty good. If I could get a place with in walking distance I should be able to keep cabs to a minimum as well.

I figure the worst thing that can happen is the recruiter laughs at me. If that is the case, then so be it. :)
