Thanks for posting. I would love to hear more opinion on the subject. The fact that the United States borrows so heavily and burdens itself with debt is astounding.

I am seeing more and more of these doom and gloom scenarios from the media as everything seems to be tumbling down around us.

I am an optimist and continue to invest as the markets continue to get pounded. I am investing both in the U.S and of course internationally.

I cannot help but wonder how solid a case Mike Adams makes. When I see institutions like Merrill, Bear, Lehmans, etc...institutions with brand names, "smart management"..too "big and important to fail"....I can't help but wonder what position the U.S. is putting itself in. Common sense and experience tells me debt loads you cannot handle and excessive borrowing are not a good thing.

On a side note, I would be interested in any comments for those that may have seen
