Thanks for posting. Just kicked off a DRiP for XOM. Liking the idea of the longevity of the dividend increase trajectory, plus its an established company that I know will be around for a while (who said anything about Enron??) :)

I am not all that knowledgeable about oil stocks but I feel like we are closer to the bottom than the top. Barring any Enron type issue and/or 'oil critical level' issue, I think this stock should grow over the next 10 years. I plan on using this as a jumping off point to start a small DRiPing portfolio in addition to my main quarterly VTI ETF purchase. I envision buying 4 more stocks to DRiP into as the years progress.

Maybe not the smartest plan, but its something I want to try.
