Thanks for the link, but what a joke. How can anyone claiming to possess any sort of remote knowledge of "the current state of wireless" be completely oblivious to what Metricom (MCOM) offers now?

The author can check email, yellow page listings, and maybe even the movie listings - amazing. Sign me up.

Let's compare full-fledged 128+kbps wireless true internet access with some silly little cell phone any day.

By the way, I'm long on MCOM and am therefore partial. I am not presenting an argument for or against MCOM as an investment, but to completely overlook their superior technology available today is ridiculous.
