Thanks for the recommendation. Although at 1-1.2% interest on $1.8 mill is not much to live, especially here in Calif, and the lifestyle we have. We would like to be able to do that....and then some. I guess the most concern we have is putting it to work. Yes of course a diversified portfolio certainly is worth having, however we have already had that....and while we made some money when things were good, we lost lots at other times. Treasuries might be the way to go as they usually remain stable. Of course the government would never want to mislead the public after all the scandals of brokerage houses, and large corporations would they?
