I understand that commitment letter is truly binding, my question is whether anyone has heard that Chase has stopped issuing these letters.

The coop board will not interview anyone unless there is a commitment letter (minimum), so I am confused.

This agent is president of the RE Board in our area, and seems pretty competent / in the know, but I do suspect that she is being fed a line and hasnt had a chance to get the truth from Chase.
