Thanks for your courtious reply. I agree, let's start again.

I think the strongest factor that should allay any fears about the integrity of this company lies in the recently signed deal with Philips. The announcement is included in the press releases in the web site. As you all know Philips is a very large and powerful company and Wi-Lan and Philips recently exhibited at the Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) 1999. This is the link to the press announcement by Philips at that time (Sept 99)
This is the link to the Wi-Lan press announcement about the deal that was finally reached with Philips.

This is the link to the press release regarding the deal with Telia in Sweden

This is the link to the recent announcement reagrding the Wi-Lan patent on Multicode Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (MCDSSS)

Another factor you might like to know is that Dr. Zaghoul was one of the head research engineers at Telus prior to leaving to operate Wi-Lan. I would assume you know about Telus as it is a very large communications company.

One more thing. You will notice that the German exhibition announcement is not on the Wi-Lan site. This speaks to the integrity of Wi-Lan. As they were demontrating their technology at the Philips booth they felt it was Philips show and didn't try to steal their thunder. How many companies can you think of that would behave like this. I know a lot that don't.

I hope you find this usefull.
