Thanks michaelangela, Your list reminds me of some things we have to get a move on. We've been looking for a house for over a year. Now, there's just a bit more urgency. Depending on how much we spend on the house the savings are in good shape. We've also traveled extensively, Africa was just one of the last fantasy trips we wanted to do before we grew up. We'll still get there; we'll just have to stay a little closer to the beaten path than usual.

One good thing about becoming parents later(both 37) is that we've already made career choices that will allow either of us to stay home with our child if we chose. We plan to split care for the first year and then decide if/which parent wants to do it full-time how to make it happen.

Sending lots of + + + + + + pregnancy vibes for you.
