Thanks, Puck! I actually still think they're headed to $0 by the end of the year though, - or at least I hope so since I own $5 puts! - but we will see what happens. It was sort of a double whammy because I got to see WEB jump into a new business where he will likely be the only real player for the next few years. I still maintain that there is a big difference between the MBIA bond insurance unit and the MBIA holding group (which has the ticker MBI) which survives only on cash payments from the insurance group. The bond insurance unit may survive, but I'm thinking the stock may not. Again, we'll have to see what happens. People may just give up altogether on seeking insurance policies for awhile and maybe even WEB won't be able to find any business. Who knows?
