Thanks to all for answers.

I'm not too worked up about it--it's just another example of how college professors are consistently left out of the "educator benefits" offered by the Congress. Any student loans above a bachelor's aren't forgiven, teaching at colleges in depressed areas aren't considered applicable, etc etc.--but

everyone in the country get a college education, right?

who the heck does Congress think teaches those people in college?????
