That seems a bit much. In fact, it sounds a bit like it might be the entire hospital bill. If not, the agreed amount for the hospital stay must have been north of $10,000.

Bill presented to insurance $13516.50 plan paid $5557.00. Leaving me paying $3734 when it gets to me.

I have a $2500 deductable and max pay out of pocket $5700 Ive had so far $4021.15 in medical bills from the health insurance.

This was in network hospital visit.

What ticks me is my psy. doctor up'd his bill from $125 to $150 to insurance for 5 minutes session and calling it long for billing purposes.
The old fee was $56.50 new fee $90.75
