Well, I caved in to El Gripe and ended my Lou Gerhig-like day of not taking any sick days. The advantage of doing this is I can watch the train wreck that is unfolding on CNBC as I type. As it stands right now, It looks like the bailout package is NOT going to pass and everything is absolutely cratering.

While I am not a big fan of it in principle, the following quote that someone in the trading pits just screamed in the background sums up my thoughts on the subject beautifully:

"We can argue about the seat belt law, but when my car is driving off of the cliff, I don't want to have an ideological debate."
