The key thing is whether these were incentive stock options, or nonqualified stock options.

These options were exercised at the same price as the grant price

I'm curious -- why did you exercise early? Usually, unless the company pays a big dividend, or you're planning to sell the shares immediately, it's best to wait until the last possible moment.
