The cost of gas oil housing tution taxes food transrortation intress on credit cards health care and everything else.

I do this ratio thing with students all the time about how in 1980 I had a job that paid $7/hour (minimum wage was $3.65/hour), and tuition was $18/credit hour and now it is $151/credit hour.

Students are always quite surprised at the wage they work out.

Did you know that  the lowest paid CEO makes about 6,152.00 an hour?  So yes that is  how I look at it. With gas going to $4.00  a gal. Min,. wage needs to rise to 35.00 an hour.
